Katherine Leahey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Richmond, Virginia. She believes everyone deserves a safe and healing place to understand new roles, work through difficult experiences, process past challenges, and reconnect with their strengths.
Her work is person-centered and trauma-informed, with experience supporting individuals, families, parents, caregivers, children in foster care or kinship placements, and adoptive families. Katherine also draws from Trust-Based Relational Intervention principles when supporting families shaped by foster care, adoption, or kinship care.
Katherine earned her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and brings a decade of experience with children and families navigating the foster care system, plus years of mental health and therapy experience.
